Festival of Art 2007
We wish to thank the great folks
at the Piziquid Aquatic Club for making our exhibit run and look great!
From clearing out the club space for us, to helping mount artwork securely and
even offering extra lighting, the Club staff could not have been more helpful to
the Council.
The exhibition space was very
pleasing to the eye, with a warm golden glow provided by the knotty pine walls
and plenty of natural lighting thought the large windows.
Refreshments
were light, tasty and attractively presented by the attentive & winsome wait
staff. Artists and guests alike seem to have enjoyed mingling and
conversation while sampling a variety of wines and cheeses.
Outside on the spacious
wrap-around deck, visitors got a breath of fresh air while observing the
waterfront activities of the Sam Slick Festival and watched the sun setting over
the placid but picturesque Avon River. Here are a few candid photos from
the Opening on Friday evening; click for enlargements...
Council Meetings
Next meeting: Wednesday July 16th, 7:00pm at Cravings Cafe.
